Jul. 24, 2019

Another interesting new addition on the next-gen iPhone models is said to be a new Taptic Engine that the company is reportedly calling‘Leap Haptics’. While exact details about it remain a mystery, the report categorically states that“the new devices won’t feature 3D Touch as we know it today”.

Lastly, the report also seemingly confirms some of the recent rumors about the cameras on the new iPhones. According to the sources, thetriple rear cameraswill, indeed, be housed within a square housing, with the extra space occupied by a wide-angle camera that will add a feature called‘Smart Frame’to allow users to frame their subjects better. The front-facing selfie-cam will also be upgraded with support for slo-mo recording at 120fps, the report said.
