Android April Security Patch Also Includes Some Functional Updates for Pixel, Nexus Devices

The Android April security update will include security patches for the framework, media framework, system, kernel components, and Qualcomm components. The update includes 56 functional updates of varying severity, including assisted dialing support, improved anomaly detection metrics, improved handover from VoLTE to VoWi-Fi during emergency calls, improved microvideo performance inGoogle Camera, reduced delays while opening specific apps, improved decoding of certain video stream, improved fingerprint and keyboard latency in certain situations, etc.
