Fujifilm GFX100 102MP Mirrorless Camera Launched in India

The camera body is made of magnesium alloy, making it lightweight and robust. It is also weather sealed at 95 points (including the electronic viewfinder), helping it withstand extreme conditions of dust, moisture and low temperatures. The camera uses a 55mm (diagonal) large format, back-illuminated (BSI) image sensor which is about 1.7 times larger than a 35 mm full-frame format. The sensor comes with Fujifilm’s latest X-Processor 4 processing engine for lightning fast data processing, said the company.

According to Fujifilm, the GFX100 is one of the first cameras in its segment to offer a BSI sensor with phase detection pixels, 5-axis in-body image stabilization and 4K recording at 30fps. It also offers a dual-hinged 3.2-inch touchscreen with a 2.36 million dot resolution. Alongside, there’s also a removable OLED electronic viewfinder with a resolution of 5.76 million dots.

The camera supports 16-bit RAW mode, as well as 16-bit TIFF in-camera file conversion for still images. It can also read and output condensed video data, feeding 4K/30P 4:2:2 10bit data to the HDMI port and recording 4K/30P 4:2:0 10bit data to an SD card. Other features include an ISO range of 100-12,800, support for 16-bit RAW files, a Type-C USB port, and two SD card slots. It also supports two NP-T125 batteries for up to 800 shots without the need to recharge.
