Google Home & Home Mini Smart Speakers to Launch in India Next Month

In contrast, rival Amazon’s range of Alexa-powered smart speakers were launched in the Indian market back in October. At the time of launch, the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot and Echo Plus, were only available via an invite system and the companyremoved the invite system just last month.

TheGoogle Home Mini, which was launched last year, is more like Amazon’s Echo Dot, and includes a single 40mm driver which boasts of 360-degree sound. The Google Home Mini also features the far-field voice recognition technology for efficient hands-free use. As of now, there’s no further information regarding the pricing and availability of the Google Home and Home Mini.
