Speaking toTweakTownat the event last month, the SVP of Nvidia’s PC business, Jeff Fisher, reportedly confirmed that contrary to speculations, there are no plans to launch an RTX 2080 Ti SUPER. Meanwhile, according toTechQuila, the GeForce RTX 2070 and 2080 will be phased out as the RTX 2070 SUPER and the 2080 SUPER take their place. The blog, however, claims that the standard RTX 2060 will continue to be offered by Nvidia as a‘budget’card with ray-tracing capabilities.
According to Nvidia, its GeForce RTX SUPER Graphics Cards offer best-in-class performance with real-time ray tracing capabilities. The most affordable one of the lot, the GTX 2060 SUPER, comes with 2176 CUDA cores, 8GB GDDR6 memory, 7+7 TOPs (FP32+INT32) and 57 Tensor TFLOPs, all of which combine for up to 22 percent faster performance than the RTX 2060, according to the company.
