Poco F1 Update Brings June Security Patch, Optimizations in Tow

The uber-popular budget flagship, the Poco F1 from Xiaomi receives updates on a regular basis, but there’s no fixed schedule for the same. The last MIUI 10 Global stable release went live back in mid-June with features, including a customizable lock screen clock and dual app functionality fixes.

This isn’t a major update, however, it does bring the uber-budget flagship up-to-speed in terms of security. Poco F1 has consistently received updates ever since its launch, making it a smartphone worth picking up even today. And we say this because Xiaomi hastoday announced a temporary price cuton most variants under the Poco Days sale.

The Poco F1’s base variant, with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, is selling for Rs. 17,999 for weeks now. However, the 6GB+128GB variants are now retailing at just Rs. 18,999 while the 8GB+256GB variant is available for Rs. 22,999. Your Armoured Edition variant, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, requires you to shell out Rs 23,999 during the sale event.
