Possible Realme 5 Spotted on Geekbench With Snapdragon 655, 4GB RAM

According to areportfrom Nashville Chatter Class, the device was also recently certified in Thailand and Malaysia, paving the way for its launch in these regions.
The listing further suggests that the phone will be powered by a processor nicknamed‘trinket’, which is the same chip listed for devices like Xiaomi’s Mi A3 and the Mi CC9e, both of which sport the Snapdragon 665 SoC under-the-hood. So, as long as the listing itself isn’t fake, it would be safe to say that the Realme 5 might be powered by the Snapdragon 665 chipset. Other key details include up to 4GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
While most of the other tech specs of the Realme 5 remain a mystery, the Chinese smartphone-makerlast week revealedthat the device willship with a quad-cam setup on the back, as part of the company’s plans to launch photography-focused quad-cam smartphones in every segment going forward. The Realme 5 is also rumored to come with a 16MP primary camera and a teardrop notch up-front to house the selfie-cam, although details about either the screen or the camera remain are yet to be made public.
