In spite of the lack ofAndroid 10, the incoming update is likely a pleasant surprise for Redmi Note 8 Pro users, given that Xiaomi had earlier announced that the device will receive the updatein the fourth phaseof the rollout schedule, supposed to run from December 18-26. The company is currently rolling out the update to devices provisionally slated to receive it in the third phase, which began November 13thwith the Redmi Note 6 Pro update.
