These Nokia Smartphones Will Get Android Pie Update Starting This Month

Back in August, HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas told Beebom that the Nokia Android Pie update roll-out will begin in September. On cue, theNokia 7 Pluswas the first Nokia phone to receive the update this past weekend.

The company has now announced the Android Pie update roadmap for several other Nokia smartphones starting this month.

However, Nokia did not mention an exact date for the rollout. TheNokia 7.1, which runs Android 8.1 Oreo, will also get the Android Pie update next month. Here’s the complete roll-out plan announced so far:

Sarvikas also added that more Nokia smartphones will get the Pie update after the first phase of updates. Nokia’s Android One phones are also guaranteed Android and security updatesfor up to 3 years.
